How to Watch Live NHL Games in 2022-23

This NHL games season, you should consider the following services for NHL streaming.

In the US, ESPN+ took the place of NHL.TV last season, and this will stay the case for the 2022–2023 NHL season. As long as your local club isn’t taking part in the game, you can watch every NHL game on ESPN+. Over 1000 NHL games will be shown on these online sites for just $9.99 a month this season. This season, about 25 nationally broadcast games that can only be seen on traditional ESPN, 60 games on TNT, and about 90 games on NHL Network will not be shown on ESPN+. ESPN+ is a paid service that you can get even if you don’t have ESPN. With the exceptions listed below, ESPN+ subscribers can watch all live NHL games this season.

  • All exclusive ESPN games will be rebroadcast shortly after the first broadcast.
  • Games on TNT and NHL Network will be accessible 24 hours after their scheduled end.
  • Other blacked-out games will be streamed on ESPN+ 24 hours after their scheduled end times.

In addition to providing access to over 1000 out-of-market NHL games, ESPN+ will show 75 games exclusively on Hulu, 11 on ABC, and two on ESPN.

How to Watch Nationally Televised NHL Games

For the 2022–23 NHL games season, the following is the national media schedule. On TNT, NHL Network, and ESPN, about 150 games will also be broadcast. Where you can watch these games without cable:

  • You need to pay $9.99 a month for ESPN+ in order to watch NHL games.
  • For $35 a month, Sling TV’s Orange Package includes live access to ESPN, NHL Network, and TNT for NHL games. Still, Sling doesn’t have any area networks.
  • So, unless you live in the Philadelphia market, you will need DIRECTV STREAM to watch games on ESPN, NHL Network, and TNT that are shown across the country, as well as games from teams in your own market.
